The problem

A trading bot is the easiest thing in crypto to build badly and the most expensive. The happy path is trivial. It depends on the venue and strategy. For latency-sensitive market making we deliver tick-to-trade in single-digit microseconds; for execution algorithms the bottleneck is venue rate limits, not our code. We optimise to what the strategy actually needs.
